Tuscaloosa Delegates Visit Narashino
Happy 50th Anniversary, Narashino! Fifteen
Tuscaloosa leaders and community delegates traveled to Narashino, Japan
to attend the 50th Anniversary
of Narashino's municipalization, which was celebrated on October 16.
Delegates included Johnnie Aycock, Heidrun and Lothar Bacher (of
Schorndorf, Germany), Beverly Callahan, Marilyn Emplaincourt, Byron
Findley, Dennis Hall, Jill and Bobby Ray Hicks, Gary Key, Philip Key,
Virginia Joiner, Catherine Pagani, Edel Revord and Tuscaloosa Sister
Cities Commission Director, Lisa Keyes. The group spent six days
in Narashino and a three-day cultural side trip to Tokyo, Kyoto and
Nara.
